Here we go with the first deep dive into EVOLV - The Remixes! Over the span of this year, I hand picked some of my favorite techno and experimental producers from around the globe to tackle something from the EVOLV album project.

For years i’d been buying up as much material as I could find from Munich-based duo Glaskin. I’ve always enjoyed their unique take on the genre - tough, peak-time, groovy techno with touches of EBM. Their take on “Escape” is pure, funky, hypnotic bliss.

And my good friend, Goa-based producer Arjun Vagale, is someone who’s been EVOLVing rapidly over the years into a highly respected producer, who’s recent works for Jeff Mills Axis label has cemented his reputation as one of techno’s leading lights. His approach on “CHALLNGR 1.1” is direct, fast, trippy and unrelenting.
