999999999, pronounced "Nine Times Nine," is a dynamic Italian duo making waves in the hard techno scene. Formed in July 2016 by Carlo B. & Giovanni C., they're known for their high-energy performances and raw, intense techno sound. Improvisation is a key element in their live sets, where they exclusively use hardware equipment to create a forward-pushing, ever-shifting musical experience.
The duo established their own label, NineTimesNine, where they release their own music alongside collaborating with artists like DYEN, Hector Oaks, and Nico Moreno. Their tracks, like "300000003" on Planet Rhythm (2018), have achieved cult status with multiple reprints due to high demand. Recently, they've begun offering digital releases alongside their vinyl productions.
999999999 are no strangers to major techno events, having played at Awakenings, Possession, and Fabric. They've also toured extensively across the globe, bringing their sound to the Americas, Asia, Australia, and Europe. Beyond touring, they curate their own event series, 9x9 Invites, featuring respected artists. The duo is known for pushing boundaries, with a memorable 12-hour set takeover of Khidi in Tbilisi (2019).
