The cobbled streets of Zurich, Switzerland, are about to vibrate with the infectious pulse of electronic music. The city is gearing up to host its annual crown jewel – the Street Parade. This behemoth of a party, with over a million attendees pulsating to the rhythm, isn't just a celebration of music; it's a global phenomenon that embodies unity, love, and the cutting edge of electronic music.
A Spectacle on Parade
Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 10th, 2024, because that's when the 31st Street Parade explodes onto the scene. The centerpiece of the event is a visually stunning parade that snakes its way for 2 kilometers along the picturesque shores of Lake Zurich. Extravagantly decorated floats, christened Love Mobiles, take center stage. These mobile behemoths are more than just eye candy; they're rolling sound systems, blasting infectious beats courtesy of world-renowned DJs.
An artist with growing popularity, Anfisa Letyago has gradually made a place for herself among the most influential DJs and producers in the electro industry. She works with leading labels such as Kompakt, Rekids and Drumcode and her name appears on the bill at numerous international festivals and events (Ultra Music Festival, Tomorrowland, Parklife etc.).
Anfisa Letyago was born in Siberia and raised in Naples. In 2021, she founded her own label, N:S:DA, an important step in her career. The same year, she released two EPs, “Listen” and “Nisida”, which fit into new electro trends. In 2022, she remixes the titles of these two opuses in the company of ten great artists including Chris Liebing, Caliber, DJ Tennis, DJ Seinfeld and Michael Mayer. From this collaborative work comes a Remix-Pack in three volumes. If we add an official remix of Moby ("Go") for Deutsche Grammophon, a Cover Mix for Mixmag and an appearance on the show Residency (BBC Radio 1), the year 2022 will definitely remain the year where nothing will have resisted Anfisa Letyago.
During the 30th Street Parade in Zurich, Anfisa Letyago performs on the Opera Main Stage. This year, the most colorful techno parade in the world has the motto: “Make a wish!”.
International DJs and EDM fans from around the world respond to this invitation, as no fewer than 30 Love Mobiles make their way through the crowd gathered around the Lake Zurich basin. In addition to the mobile stages, eight fixed stages are installed along the route. The program includes electronic music sets with renowned DJs, digital art and performances.
During the Street Parade, the paths of hundreds of thousands of people filled with their hopes and desires cross.
