DVS1 & WORK present: Wall of Sound Los Angeles (Mini Documentary)

dvs1 wall-of-sound 30 Jan 2026

Wall of Sound is not a party concept. It is a dance floor experiment experiment in listening. This documentary revisits Wall of Sound Los Angeles — January 2025, featuring DVS1 and Traxx, released one year after the night itself. Rather than documenting a moment for immediacy, this film reflects on why the night was built the way it was—and what it asks of both artist and audience.Through conversations with DVS1, sound engineer Andy Fitton, lighting director Strobert and WORK curator Marco Sgalbazzini, the film explores the often-unseen architecture behind the experience: sound as intention, lighting as restraint, and curation as responsibility.

Wall of Sound prioritizes clarity over volume, presence over spectacle, and trust over trend. Every decision, from system tuning to lighting design to lineup curation, is made in service of one goal: creating the conditions for music to be fully experienced.
