Berlin's Provocative Techno Duo

Brutalismus 3000 (often abbreviated as B3000) is a techno act making waves in Berlin's underground scene. The duo consists of Victoria Vassiliki Daldas and Theo Zeitner, who met on the dating app Tinder in 2018. Their musical journey began in 2020.

Raucous Sounds and Rebellious Spirit:

Brutalismus 3000's music is known for its raw and aggressive sound. They blend elements of techno, hardcore, and gabber, creating a high-energy and often confrontational listening experience. Their lyrics often touch on political and social issues, with tracks like "No Sex With Cops" and "Satan Was a Babyboomer" showcasing their rebellious spirit. Daldas has even described her vocals in "Good Girl" as a feminist statement.

Rapid Rise and Global Recognition:

Despite their recent formation, Brutalismus 3000 has quickly gained recognition. They released their debut EP, "Amore Hardcore," in 2020, followed by "Liebe in Zeiten der Kola" later that year. Their 2021 performance at the BR Festival London went viral, amassing millions of views on Boiler Room's YouTube channel. In 2022, they released their third EP, "Eros Massacre," and finally dropped their debut album, "Ultrakunst," in April 2023.

They are signed to the Berlin label Live From Earth and have played at prestigious venues like Berghain, showcasing their talent on an international stage.

Techno A Global Electronic Music Powerhouse

The techno scene boasts a spectrum of clubs. Mainstream giants like Berlin's Berghain offer world-renowned DJs, elaborate sound systems, and intense dance floors. Conversely, underground clubs prioritize a more intimate experience, often showcasing local talent and experimental sounds.

Expect a focus on the music itself. Lighting is often dark, with strobe effects adding to the energy. Attendees come for the pure experience of the music, letting loose and getting lost in the rhythm. Some techno clubs, particularly the more famous ones, are known for their strict door policies. Dress code may not be overtly enforced, but a well-considered, comfortable outfit that reflects your appreciation for the music is a plus.

Respect for fellow dancers and the DJ is key. Be mindful of your personal space and avoid overly chatty behavior on the dance floor.
